Soletta

Soletta Holdings arise from the work of Umberto, who since childhood expressed his interest in land and wine. Still cultivates a vineyard and an olive grove that at the age of five years he has planted with his father and uncles; passion led him to believe and invest in the wine and olive oil, but above all to love and respect the land. In Umberto Soletta opinion, Wine with the capital "W" is the result of a long process, originates from proper care of vines and grapes. The respect of ancient traditions in the cellar, accompanied by innovative production technology and combined with the artist's touch, complete the long journey that began in the vineyard.

Mazzei

The history of Mazzei family is closely linked both to the viticulture in Tuscany and to the entire political and cultural life of the region. The first documents regarding Mazzei - originating in the Carmignano wine area – date back to the early XI century. Fonterutoli becomes Mazzei property in 1435 by the marriage of Ser Lapo granddaughter and Piero Agnolo from Fonterutoli, and transmitted until now through 24 generations. Even today, the Mazzei family - under the guidance of Lapo, who with his sons Philip and Francis leads the property – dedicates to the wine activity with an unwavering and innovative
commitment respecting the territory. Mazzei family’s aim running the Winery is to keep alive the values of history and family tradition, interpreting them according to the needs of the market but also the opportunities offered by modern technologies. In this context lie several important strategic decisions, such as the adoption of the most modern systems of protection of the environment (starting with those for the self-energy), or the progressive creation of a real Wine Group, through the acquisition of wineries in the two areas considered the most promising in Italy: Maremma and southeastern Sicily.

Borgo Salcetino

Borgo Salcetino farm is located in the heart of Chianti Classico DOCG, in the town of Radda in Chianti, which extends for thirty hectares, fifteen of which already planted in vineyards. Chianti is a land of ancient traditions, civilized in remote periods first by the Etruscans - of which there are traces of their activity in the world of wine - and then by the Romans. In medieval age, Chianti was a land of constant battles between the cities of Florence and Siena and, at that time, were born villages and abbeys, castles and fortresses, transformed partly into villas and residences when times were more relaxed. It was then that to the vast chestnut and oak forests was subtracted space for grapes and olives cultivation, which gradually acquired economic importance and international fame.

Its varied territory includes in little more than a hundred kilometers all environments that man could want: from the uncontaminated peaks of Carnia to the thick woods of Tarvisio, ancient rivers flowing in the fertile plain and white beaches along the Adriatic. In the heart of this magnificent region is a land where the beneficial effects of all these ecosystems meet and mix together, creating a unique environment for the production of wine: the Collio. Hills protected from northern winds of the Julian Pre-Alps and kissed by the warm light breeze blowing from the sea. The charm of fragrance and wine taste and the rural world become an authentic passion that the grown man can finally realize. Bought small plots of land to reach the current eighteen hectares located on the ridges of the hills at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, in positions considered among the best in the area.
